The Wildcats' four injured offensive linemen are all getting closer to returning by the Utah game on Sept. 14.
UA head coach John Mackovic said sophomore center Keoki Fraser got most of his work done yesterday in practice and the sprained ankle is doing much better.
Senior tackle Makoa Freitas was given a heavier cast Wednesday on his broken hand, but Mackovic would still like to fit him with a mitt.
He should be ready to return by Monday.
Reserve senior offensive lineman John Vorsheck was held out of practice because he was sick.
He suffered a concussion two weeks ago and has still not completely recovered.
Senior tackle Darren Safranek worked out with two braces on his knees but did not participate in practice. He should be available next week.
"They would have all played," said Mackovic, if the team had a game this week. "How much we don't know. That's the thing about (being) questionable."
Also missing practice was freshman cornerback Darrell Brooks with a leg injury.
The injury does not appear to be serious.
The Wildcats had their annual picture day yesterday with the team taking a group photo and the players taking individual shots.
After all the players said "cheese" to the camera, they practiced.
The Wildcats will practice again today and then get Saturday and Sunday off before returning Monday to prepare for Utah.
