Building Openings
· Highland District Grand Opening 10 a.m. 501 N. Highland Ave., northwest corner at Sixth Street. The public is invited to take building tours at the celebration beginning at 10 a.m. and the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. A reception, entertainment, food and tours will continue from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
· The Dedication of the Stevie Eller Dance Theatre Tours at 5 p.m. Dedication program at 6 p.m. Located near the east gateway to campus and the UA Mall, adjacent to the Ina Gittings Building.
Film/Entertainment
· Movie: "Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd" 7 p.m. Student Union Memorial Center, Gallagher Theater
· Poetry Reading by Renaldo Rosaldo, Jr. 7:30 p.m. Integrated Learning Center Room 120. Reception to follow.
· "The River (He Liu)" - Presented by the International Arts Society Film Series 7:30 p.m. Modern Languages Auditorium
· UApresents: "An Evening with Branford Marsalis" 8 p.m. Centennial Hall
· Movie: "Spiderman" 9:30 p.m. Student Union Memorial Center, Gallagher Theater
