  • Fall 2003 Poetry Center's Visiting Poets and Writers Reading Series: Steve Orlen - Modern Languages auditorium. Steve Orlen, a faculty member of the Creative Writing department, will read some of his work. 8 p.m. Free. 626-3765.

    Ongoing exhibitions and performances

  • "Metamorphoses" - Arizona Repertory Theatre presents this award-winning play set in a pool of water. Performances run through Sunday, Nov. 9. Tickets are $15 for students, $20 for UA employees and $22 for the general public. 621-1162.
  • James Ensor exhibition - UA Museum of Art, North Park Avenue and East Speedway Boulevard underpass. In celebration of Halloween, Ensor's "Salon of the Hundred," from 1898, is on exhibit. Tuesdays - Fridays from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from noon - 4 p.m. Closed Mondays. 621-7567.
  • D’a de los Muertos: A Southwest Celebration - Tohono Chul Park, 7366 N. Paseo del Norte. See sculpture, paintings, photography and a memorial altar, all in the spirit of Day of the Dead.
