Teaching assistant doesn't think it's too chilly out; not a big fan of Phoenix or bad jokes
WILDCAT: What are you doing out here tonight?
GALLARDO: I'm a TA and I just had a study session for students. Now I'm on my way to my car.
WILDCAT: What did you guys study tonight?
GALLARDO: Public management stuff. I was pretty much trying to give students some help for their next test.
WILDCAT: Riveting. A lot of freshmen in that class?
GALLARDO: There's a good mixture of freshmen, sophomores and juniors.
WILDCAT: Are the freshmen really stupid?
GALLARDO: No, there are some really smart ones, and they are working hard. I'm there to help out.
WILDCAT: That's good, I guess. Hey, you want to here a joke?
GALLARDO: Sure.
WILDCAT: What's brown and sticky?
WILDCAT PHOTOGRAPHER: Oh, god.
GALLARDO: Brown and sticky? Um · yeah, I have no idea.
WILDCAT: A stick. (long pause) Get it? ĪCause it's brown and sticky.
GALLARDO: Yeah, I got it.
WILDCAT: My friend Colan told that to me. That's funny, isn't it?
GALLARDO: Oh, geez. I guess.
WILDCAT: It is so cold out here tonight. How cold do you think it is?
GALLARDO: I have no idea. High 60s maybe?
WILDCAT: I think it's colder than that. Probably more like the 20s.
GALLARDO: In the 20s?
WILDCAT: Yeah, I mean I can see my own breath.
GALLARDO: I love this weather. I wish it were colder.
WILDCAT: Oh yeah? I don't. So what do you think of Tucson?
GALLARDO: Well, I was born and raised here.
WILDCAT: I'm from Phoenix and I don't really care for Tucson.
GALLARDO: That's funny, because I'm from Tucson and I don't like Phoenix. Most down here don't.
WILDCAT: Moving on · so any big plans for the evening?
GALLARDO: I have to study for a test, you know, for a class.
WILDCAT: That sounds like lots of fun.
