Panty thief

University of Montana
Montana Kaimin

A man was arrested early Saturday morning for allegedly breaking into two dorm rooms at the University of Montana and stealing panties from the female residents, said Jim Lemcke, assistant director of Public Safety.

Patrick Gone, 25, was charged Monday with two counts of felony burglary and two counts of misdemeanor theft in Missoula County Justice Court. At the first appearance, Gone pleaded innocent to both of the charges.

The appearance stems from an incident Saturday morning at 6:45 a.m., when, according to Public Safety records, a man had been seen burglarizing multiple rooms on the third floor of the dorm.

Dining ills

Boston University
The Daily Free Press

Hundreds of Boston University students complaining of similar symptoms reportedly filled Student Health Services this weekend, and several were even hospitalized, after many said they ate at a Boston University dining hall Friday and Saturday.

The sicknesses mainly affected residents of one dorm, and large portions of many floors came down with the illness over the weekend, students said.

Numerous students said they had similar symptoms, including intense vomiting, fever, body aches and high to extreme dehydration.

Tim Daly, a communication freshman said he began to feel sick Saturday and went to Student Health Services.

Hockey riots

University of Minnesota
Minnesota Daily

The smell of cigar smoke, burning plastic and pepper spray filled the air Saturday night as several hundred people rioted following the University of Minnesota's men's hockey team's 5-1 NCAA championship victory.

In an alcohol-fueled frenzy, rioters smashed windows, burned trash bins and toppled items throughout Dinkytown, Stadium Village and parts of the East Bank campus.

As the game ended at 8:35 p.m., house parties along Fourth Street Southeast and University Avenue Southeast emptied onto the sidewalks.
