EVENTS

· For a unique experience, come to the Off Screen Films tonight from 7 until 8:30. Presented by the media arts department at the University of Arizona, this event will feature film installations shown at various locations around campus. A walking tour begins at 7 p.m. Meet in the Harvill courtyard where maps will be distributed. This event is free and open to the public. For details, call Daniel Peltz at 621-7352.

· The Philomusica concert will be held today from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Academy Village, 13701 E. Old Spanish Trail. This classical concert will be free and feature Norman Palau, Wayne Magee and Deli Bloembergen on the violin, cello and piano, respectively. For more info, call Susan Hawk at 647-0980.

· Check out Black Heart Procession tonight at Solar Culture, 31 E. Toole Ave. This concert begins at 9, costs $10 at the door and is part of the group's "Amore del Tropico" tour. Bartender's Bible opens up the evening. For details, call 884-0874.

· Joe Bourne jazzes out on Friday from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Bookman's, 6230 E. Speedway Blvd. The concert is free and open to the public. For details, call Colin Waite at 748-9555.

· Bonny Prince Billy arrives Friday night at Club Congress, 311 E. Congress St. The guitarist/vocalist will sing the night away with the help of Brightblack, Faun Fables Solo, Joanna Newsom and Neil Hamburger. The concert kicks off at 8 p.m. and costs $10. For more info, call 622-8848.

· If you enjoy the sound of the fiddle, bagpipes and bodhran, check out the Battlefield Band on Saturday night at 8. This Scottish group can be seen at the Berger Performing Arts Center, 1200 W. Speedway Blvd. The cost is $17. For info, call 327-4809.

· Jaguares will be prowling at the Rialto Theatre, 318 E. Congress St., on Sunday night. The concert kicks off at 8 and costs $30. For details, call 798-3333.

· Check out the talent at the University of Arizona on Tuesday night at 7:30. Sparktacular is an event that will present many of the UA bands, choirs, dance teams and orchestras all at one time. This concert will be held at Centennial Hall, 1020 E. University Blvd. The cost is $12.75, with discounts available. For info, call 621-3341.
