Arizona vs. Stanford
UA actually believes it can win, and has almost rubbed it in the face of doubters. Against Oregon, Arizona played its best game to this point. Sure, 31-14 doesn't look pretty, but the Wildcats were one play away from turning it around. Arizona then nearly upset Washington on the road. UA is going to make all haters kiss their asses.

No. 7 Notre Dame vs. No. 18 Air Force
Who would have thought this would be a game to watch? Well, other than Connor Doyle, who would have watched this game if Air Force was 0-for-the-season. Notre Dame has not been tested by a running game, which the Zoomies bring to the table. The nation will see how good Notre Dame is. The Irish will win, even if they won't deserve it.

No. 22 Washington vs. No. 19 USC
The Huskies were quite possibly one tackle away from losing consecutive games at home for the first time since the '70s. Everyone talks about Reggie Williams being the best receiver in the conference. This might be true, but it's funny how the "best" receiver in the conference doesn't lead the Pac in yards, catches or total yards. That would be UA's own Bobby Wade.
USC 22 Washington 17
No. 8 Texas vs. No. 17 Kansas State
No matter how good Texas is, it never seriously competes for the national title, because it always has to play either Oklahoma, Kansas State, Nebraska or Colorado, which leads the Longhorns to do their patented "grasp throat with own hands" maneuver. The Horns are going down again.

Arizona vs. Stanford
It's hard to tell exactly what's wrong with this Stanford team. Could it be the quarterbacks who throw more picks than the Undercover Brother? Or could it be the 6-foot-7 receiver who can't handle short corners doubling him? That's beside the point ÷ what is important is that Bobby Wade supports black activists like Barry Bonds. 'Zona wins on the strength of the cause!

Air Force should change its name to the Lions, because they're going to feast on these Catholics. Ty has an option quarterback, Carlyle Holiday, playing in a west-coast offense. ND has been winning this season because it has the best secondary in the country, but Air Force throws the ball about as often as I go to church. See above comment for clarification.

No. 22 Washington vs. No. 19 USC
Word was last week that Rick Neuheisel committed a couple of recruiting violations while he was at Colorado. I haven't been that rocked since someone told me Liberace was gay. At least Slick Rick has two things going for him ÷ Cody Pickett to Reggie Williams. I just wonder how many Escalades, easy football hostesses and $500 handshakes it took to get them.

No. 8 Texas vs. No. 17 Kansas State
Did you see Chris Simms last week against Oklahoma? I haven't seen a choke-job of that magnitude since Momma Cass took on a ham sandwich. Things probably won't get any better for the Cows, who have to take on a Kansas State team that already beat USC. The only thing more predictable than Texas is a shortage of hairspray in downtown Dallas.

Arizona vs. Stanford
This week, the boys from T-town travel to NoCal to take on the Pac-10's worst. This is the best chance for the Crazy Kitties to get their first conference win. My roommate Jamal knows Chris Lewis, and says he will quit throwing it to the wrong team. I hope not, seeing as how the Cats' secondary is as thin as a Friday paper.
UA 33 Stanford 21
No. 7 Notre Dame vs. No. 18 Air Force
Undefeated teams go at it as the Irish travel to the Springs to take on Air Force. Notre Dame's offense is ranked 113 of 117 D I teams, which should spell doom for Tyrone's team. But the Irish hasn't looked this good since the Rocket was returning punts for them, which, coincidentally, is what they call me around the Wildcat office. No dice 'Zoomies.
Notre Dame 17 Air Force 10
No. 22 Washington vs. No. 19 USC
The stench emanating from Seattle last week wasn't the UW players; it was the foul scent of a Rick Neuheisel game-plan. Slick Rick did everything he could to lose, but he couldn't even do that. War-shington can't win on the road or run the ball, and Neuheisel's guitar-playing is awful. Rick, some advice: Stick to illegal campus visits, you dirty cheat. Trojans big.
USC 35 Washington 13
No. 8 Texas vs. No. 17 Kansas State
This game is harder to figure out than a Wildcat crossword puzzle. First K-State looks awful in a loss to Colorado, and then Texas rolls over and dies in its biggest game this year. This is the equivalent of me oversleeping on the day of the graduation issue of the Wildcat. Not even Rick Neuheisel's hot wife could help Mack Brown this week.
Kansas State 24 Texas 23
Arizona vs. Stanford
I have been bashing Arizona football all year, but I was impressed with the way the team battled against the Huskies. Stanford has become the laughing joke of the Pac-10 and they will be lucky if they win a conference game all season. UA's volleyball team defeated the Cardinal last weekend and the winning ways will continue for Arizona over the boys from the Bay Area.
Arizona 42 Stanford 24
No. 7 Notre Dame vs. No. 18 Air Force
Well, this is the make-or-break game for both of them. Air Force may average almost 340 yards per game on the ground, but they have not faced a defense as good as Notre Dame's. Everyone knows Irishmen love to drink beer and they better have the finest beer on tap after ND stakes its claims as a Fiesta Bowl contender this weekend.
Notre Dame 21 Air Force 7
No. 22 Washington vs. No. 19 USC
I still think that USC is the best team in the Pac-10, even though they haven't played well since destroying CU over a month ago. I look for Carson Palmer to lead the Trojans over the Huskies by at least two scores. The Huskies will just wish they could play Arizona all over again, as the Trojans defense is going to have a field day.
USC 31 Washington 17
No. 8 Texas vs. No. 17 Kansas State
Simms has failed to throw a touchdown against a Top-10 opponent in his overrated career. Lucky for him, K-State isn't in the Top 10. Texas is coming off an embarrassing performance and they will look to somehow jump back into BCS contention. A loss against the Wildcats will end any hope of landing a major bowl game.
