Cinco de Mayo festivities begin
This weekend many UA students put down their books and picked up 99-cent Coronas to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, but few knew what they were celebrating.
Cinco de Mayo does not honor Mexican Independence Day, as many students think; rather, it marks the anniversary of the Mexican victory in 1862 over Napoleon III's French army at Puebla, Mexico.
But some students said they don't pay much attention to the history behind the celebration.

Animal Planet masturbation poses problems for friendly neighbors [04.30.03]
Dear Abby,
So, I found out that my neighbor walked in on my roommate masturbating while watching Animal Planet. Yeah, surprising! Well this tension has been building up and has left me uneasy. The big problem is that he was doing it in a common area we share and now I'm uncomfortable laying anywhere in the room. What am I supposed to do? I know he'll deny it!
